Cream Silk has always championed the Modern Filipina to go beyond beautiful by becoming the best version of herself in her journey of transformation. Last Saturday, the brand launched its newest campaign called Cream Silk Transformations: Spotlight on the #ModernFilipina at the World Trade Center Tent.

Cream Silk ambassadors will be on the cover of top magazines' March issues
Gina Lorenzana, Unilever's Vice President for Personal Care, acknowledged that the Maria Clara image is now overshadowed by women who are slowly climbing up the ranks and embracing bigger and better roles for themselves.

Myrza Sison, EIC of Cosmopolitan shares her transformation story
"Today, the modern Filipina has become both a spotlight and a beacon. She has evolved into a fearless and trailblazing individual determined to realize her dreams and make a positive mark in the world," described Lorenzana.

The whole day event celebrated women who have constantly challenged themselves to transform from good to great. Cream Silk collaborated with top magazines -- Cosmopolitan, Meg, MEGA, Metro, Preview, and Yes! -- to empower event attendees and equip them with tips and treats needed to kick off their own transformations.

Cream Silk moreover unveiled its new roster of Modern Filipinas through the first ever live cover shoot experience where the newest endorsers were styled and photographed on stage in front of event attendees. Joining Heart Evangelista on the covers of the publications' March issues are Nadine Lustre, Coleen Garcia, Julie Anne San Jose, Rachelle Ann Go, and Yassi Pressman, who also have their own transformation journeys to tell.

Pia Wurtzbach makes her first Philippine public appearance
after winning the Miss Universe crown
Adding to the already impressive lineup was the first Philippine public appearance of Miss Universe Pia Wurtzbach who epitomizes the most inspiring transformation of the Modern Filipina yet. Pia, who arrived in the country just hours before, expressed her gratitude for her fellow Filinos' overwhelming support and took her well-deserved walk on the Cream Silk stage. Watch that and hear her speech in the video I took, which can be found on YouTube, here.
